A few days ago
I have two therapy dogs myself that go to hospitals and to school with me during the year. I have a Poo-Pom and Powder Puff Chinese Crested. Both have been trained. They both weigh about 7lbs. The dogs will sit for extended periods of time with children and not offer to bother them. They feed off a child’s movements and emotions instead of their own. However, I know others with larger dogs. Always remember that the dogs go through a variety of trainings to become therapy animals. Please shoot me an email if you have anymore questions.
