Why don’t you have a class contest of some sort perhaps with a prize?

You can ask students to do research about a good saying or slogan. Let then look as one example about the sayings of famous Brazilians, You may also have them read about Brazil and find statements about art, literature, hobbies, musical lyrics,sports etc. You may even want to change the sayings/slogans every week or month to give each student a chance and to have a place in the sun.
