Classroom camera online?
Hi, I am a math teacher and I’ve been thinking to tell the parents that I want cameras in the classroom so they can see their children. This is because they are teenagers 7th-9th and many of them are very difficult. Is this possible? What type of camera or software do I need? I already have a yahoo group, Can I put the display on there? Please Ideas. thanks. If it is not yahoo group, is out there a site that can help me? It is a middle class school, so I do not have a lot of money.

You might be able to set this up using just one really high quality webcam and a computer. That is the most economical way to go and you can view it from any internet browser. There are more expensive systems but I guess it depends how many cameras and how setailed you want each picture.
Look into a webcam, it’s easy to set up and low cost and usually includes the software needed to run it.

Using online camera in class room is a bad idea. 7th – 9th class students don’t need to have cameras in their class rooms. Being a good and qualified teacher u should know that a Class room is a place where the studets enjoy their studies they are independent for their activities,
If teacher is present in the class so i dont think cameras are necessary in the class , parents should not be made a part of class room
