In one of my son’s schools two girls had a fight. The next day one of the girls brought in a razor blade and two of her friends held her enemy down while she repeatedly slashed the girls face into ribbons. More than ten years later the woman is still having reconstructive surgery.
I guess in a no-punishment school they would just tell that trio of girls to be nice and send them off to class. Fortunately this school was a little more medieval!

Punishment paradigms are medieval at best, but more neolithic in general. Of course all punishment should be banned in schools. As with all forms of communities, though, any member that does not support the betterment and good health of others in a community should leave and allow the others to live and work in peace.

I think punishment should be brought back into schools. There is not enough discipline nowadays. Schoolchildren have the upper hand and have no respect for anyone in authority.
They should bring back the cane and stamp out disrespect.

Well if there was no punishment then the girls could do what ever they wanted to. thats a pretty bad idea considering parents pay for the priviate schools and they wouldn’t go for that.
