Be glad that she’s not your teacher for a subject, and simply make your time in her classroom as pleasant as possible by behaving in a responsible, adult manner.

I know this sounds trite but the truth is..There will be people in your life you may not like or get along with..blahblahblah..sorry to sound like a mom..fact is I am one! Lol I guess that you could turn around and talk to the teacher and ask why you get the feeling that they have an issue with you. Are u a good student? Do u get good grades?? Then it may be more personal than that. You will never know unless you step up and ask. You are paying for your education or your parents are..don’t be afraid to find out what you need to know..and remember..not everyone is going to like everyone..we just have to get along..Good luck!

See if you can switch out of the classroom. As far as I know, it shouldn’t be too soon in your school year. And if you can’t, just ‘suck it up.’ Homeroom is all of 15 minutes in the beginning of your day. As long as the teacher isn’t marking you absence when you aren’t, it should be too much of a concern right now.

Personality conflicts happen sometimes. For the short time you spend in homeroom, I think you can survive the rest of the school year. Just don’t think about it so much. You are letting this teacher live rent-free in your mind.

I used to have a teacher who we loved to play practical jokes on. Like if we got in to his room before he did in the morning, we would turn the whole room backwards, write obscene comments on the blackboard, or steal the drawers from his desk. The bad thing is, this is the teacher we liked.

Basically, what I’m saying is do a couple of HARMLESS little jokes. poke a small hole in her water bottle (dribble cup), stick chalk in the erasers. When she has her back turned, make bird noises (that was one of our favorites).

It sounds real juvenille, but it is a lot of fun.

Remember though: 1) HARMLESS, don’t be vicious, just have your fun

2) don’t get caught, cause then you spend more time with her in detention.

she’s just your homeroom teacher? if you don’t have an actual class with her, don’t bother doing anything. you don’t get graded in homeroom… but if you’re really having issues, talk to your guidance counselor to see if you can switch.
