3 sec X tan X + 2 sec X + tan X + 1 = 0

Lets square both sides,

3 sec X^2 tan X^2 + 2 sec X^2 + tan X^2 + 1^2 = 0^2

Now u no the identities..use them!

3(1+tan X^2)tan X^2+2(1+tan X^2)+tan X^2+1=0

Let tan X^2=y

3(1+y)y+2(1+y)+y+1=0

3y+3y^2+2+2y+y+1=0

3y^2+6y+3=0

now this after being factorizd becomes ..

y^2+2y+1=0

y^2+y+y+1=0

y(y+1)+1(y+1)=0

y=-1

now lets sustitue the real thing 😉

tan X^2=-1

tanx=-1 at x=135 and 315 degree!
