If you ask if you are able to sleep in a room with men: yes, you are.

If you ask if it is permitted or socially accepted in Islam for a grown woman to sleep in a room with men: only if these men are your husband and your own sons, as long as they are still children.

If these men are not related to you at all you should not sleep in the same room where they sleep.

In an emergency situation you could still sleep in the same room as some men as long as there is a curtain or something similar that separates the men from the women.

yea im muslim too.. and im going to an exchange program in the u.s. next year.. and my mom said im not allowed to go if the family gives me a room with guys..lol.. and my family isnt even that strict… so if my mom said so…lol… yeah anyways back to your question. Yeah ur not suposed to sleep in a room with men. Unless hes ur husband, the answer is NO. theres not discussion on this. You can try sharing a room with a girl maybe? Its better safe than sorrry you never know whats gunna happen if you stay with guys.. also, you might need some privacy and stuff.. and maybe theyre having friends over and u neeed to sleep or study or something.. and sometimes guys arent very.. umm.. understanding! u never know.. they might be back really late at night and then could be drunk and stuff.. so things can go wrong..lol hope i helped! good luck x

Personally i don’t think there is any problem sleeping in a room with men so long as you are sure of your safety and familiar with the guys.But islamically its not allowed.

You can, if you sleep not on the same bed with them and as long as you have some company. Not you and one man. If there are others around, temptation will be harder.

But why on earth would a girl sleep in a room full of men? Men are not angels! There are many instances that college girls are raped by college boys. Would prevention better than cure?

The issue is about your safety sister, it does not matter whether your a muslim or not, men will be men. Any sane and morally upright woman, regardless of religion, will never allow herself to sleep in a room with men who are not related to her in anyway.

well hey there i am a Muslim and look if you have to do it then its ok but try not to view you privacy to him i mean just act like he is your brother/s ( and tell him/them that )if there is to many men and you don’t feel like you are having you privacy things then just get out and try to get another room and if they don’t bother at all and just sleeping and stuff the that’s OK …. but i think weather you are Muslim or not i think the boys have to be alone and girls too… cause you know some boys and girls have some thing they don’t want the other sex to know or don’t feel comfortable ( and if you allways wear a hijab then you shouldnt take it off i guess ) anyway like i just said i dont know about you but if you want my REAL advice get a room alone or with girls . i hope that i helped

im not an muslim but a christian and i feel its best to not put yourself in a position where anything could happen. if it was a mixed room maybe? but if your the only girl probly just best to err on the side of caution and not stay in a room with just guys. take care x
