in algebra II we just did this

f(x)=3x+5 and g(x)=x^2

(3x+5) +(x^2)

3x+5+x^2

x^2+3x+5 would be your answer

next your should be getting into

composition of functions

which would be like

(. is actually an open circle meaning composition)

f(x)=x^2-1 and g(x)=3x

f.g

would be 3(x^2-1)

putting “F” in for g’s “X”

complicated
