Take Calculus first. The field of statistics requires that you have a basic knowledge of calculus to get a good understanding of the topics. I would suggest you take calculus now and statistics later or take both at the same time.

Why not take both? Taking calculus will give you the confidence that you made it all the way there in high school. It also helps you prepare and feel more confident about what you will see when you get to college. I’m assuming you’re a senior and yes, you’re going to be busy, but by taking both courses your experience and knowledge in both subjects (which are related) can help you.

Well depends what your planning to do in college.

I’ve taken both and i can say Stats is easier to pick up than Calculus. But still if you already know your major, pull up your desired college’s degree sheet for that major, and go from there. If all else fails see your school counselor. 🙂

You should take AP Stat, it’s fun. I take it now. I didn’t choose it, they took the normal 10th grade probability/stats/trig class out. It really depends on what you want your major to be.
