Where would be a good place to start looking (internet or other) for opportunities about working abroad?

I’m a college senior getting ready to graduate in December 2007 with a BA in Communication/Public Relations. I’m looking for abroad work because I want this opportunity to travel as well as make a decent dollar while overseas.

If you’re FLUENT in multiple languages you could probably find a position abroad.

If you’re willing to intern you might find a public relations-type position within an international company, but for the most part international positions go to the experienced and proven employees, as moving an employee overseas is NOT cheap.

Do you like teaching? English teachers make pretty decent money in certain Asian countries. In some countries you just have to be a native speaker of English; in the better-paying countries you need a 4-year college degree in ANYTHING. If you need to save money and/or pay off college loans, South Korea is a good place to start. Japan pays more, but the cost of living is also higher and there are more startup costs.

Teaching overseas can be a great experience and a great opportunity to learn a lot about another country/culture.
