Well done you for having ambitions but why USA? My advise would be for you to study hard and try to gain a college degree or become an experienced tradesman, then you can go anywhere in the world. You can apply for the jobs that you are educated or skilled at and you have control.

You have to think about why you want to go away from home? If it’s for a better life and more money, you have to aim to be able to get a well paid job. You don’t want to go over to any country and be on minimum wage not able to make ends meet, do you? The thought of more money may seem good at the beginning, but reality soon kicks in when you realise that the 250 or so wages is gobbled up in rent, bills and the dearer way of life that these more expensive countries offer you.

Sorry for rambling on, but here in Ireland there are so many eastern european people coming over in the hope of a better way of life and they find they can’t get even minimum wage jobs and so are either ending up on the streets or getting abused in jobs where they are underpaid! Please please look at what you want to do for the rest of your life and make a decision to be the best at that first, then worry about where you want to go to live. Good luck. nic
