hi all. i was wondering if universities in the us have such programmes for freshmen? universities like Michigan State University or UC Berkeley. if so, what are the programmes like?

Yes, most universities have an orientation day where you can go to the school and people will show you around the campus, you can sit in on classes, and talk to other students, etc.

All universities offer some type of orientation for incoming freshman students. The programs are usually fun because you get to tour the campus, meet other possible students and you can learn about the courses of study the school offers.
