Can I Get into Top Australian Universities using my predicted A-Level Grades?

In UK many universities have the options for students to apply using their predicted grades for A-level suppose the students completed the first year of the a levels and for eg got A B B and they want to apply in university by putting predicted grades for year 12 as B B B if they get B B B in yr 12 they will get admitted into the university in UK. Now in Australia Can i apply like that ? My yr 11 grades are A B B with retakes and i will give yr 12 exams in Jan 2008 and i want to apply for first semester in Au Unis which starts in Feb or March in 2008 my result will come out in march so Does anyone know ? Plz help me with this question i tried many university websites in AU but couldnt find any information for this.

G’day,

Some Australian universities do give offer based on predicted A-Level grades. However you might still need to supply the other transcripts from your high school studies so the admissions can make comparison on how stable your grades are.

The best thing to find out is to apply. Once decided on the uni, fill in the application form and send it together with certified copy of all your academic qualification. Depending on your country of origin, you may also need to submit an IELTS test results for proof of your English proficiency (www.ielts.org)

Hope this helps. Good luck on your study and welcome to Australia 🙂
