Which method of cramming for an exam is the best?

Anyway, I have tried both methods and had the best luck with going to bed early and getting up early to study. I’d start reading the material, get tired, go to bed (as early as 6 PM) wake up at 2 AM and start studying.
However, I’d only recommend this for tests that are early in the morning. If your test is in the afternoon, I’d stay up a little late and get a normal night’s sleep. The body and mind will drag into the afternoon if you get up too early.
Its better to get a good night sleep and then get up and study. Your brain won’t retain information if you’re tired.
