I think if you have a good college essay, some nice letters of rec…and lots of extracurriculars, you have a shot. Can you retake them?

Hey there, I personally think you need to improve your SAT score a bit in order to get in to SDSU. I recommend buying a few review books to help you study. The following books are the ones I’ve used.

1) The Princeton Review’s sat guide: This book contains a section known as the “Princeton Hot 100”, which is a list of the 100 most frequently covered words on the actual exam. In addition the Princeton Review’s guide helps students tackle questions they are unfamilar with time tested techniques.

2) Tutorfox.com’s New Sat guide: This is an online guide written by two students who got a 2400 and a 2350 on the SAT exam. The guide sells for only 10 dollars and extensively covers everything tested on the exam.

Try both of these books if you have the chance

If you have any questions and/or concerns let me know.

Regards,

Ben

Unless you increase your sat score, your chances aren’t that high. When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from TutorFox: http://www.tutorfox.com/satguide.html and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.
