When will I have to re-take ACT?

I took the ACT in 2002 and will be reentering college in 2010 full time after I get out of the military. Will I need to re-take it for a more accurate score?

No. Not unless the college you are reentering specifically requests it. And most likely, colleges will not ask you to retake it; they generally accept the highest composite score. Refer to the source if you have more questions.

You can re-take it as many times as you like, to increase your score. Some colleges require that you have taken the test within the last five years. Check with each school specifically.

The 2007/2008 test dates are:

Oct. 27 ’07

Dec. 8 ’07

Feb. 9 ’08

Apr. 12 ’08

Jun. 14 ’08
