Perhaps you have some pearls of wisdom about how to keep up when taking notes, especially when teachers talk too fast? My pupils always struggled with that, and no matter what I tell them, they always tend to listen more to information they gather on here.

I know its especially hard for us blokes, who only concentrate on one thing at a time, and find it harder to both write what we just heard and keep listening to what’s being said. Teachers should know to give people time to write notes.

Personally, I use a dictophone a lot now. But then, I’m not in school any more. It means I have to listen to everything twice to get it recorded.
