Finding U.S. Teaching Jobs from Overseas?
Hi, My sister-in-law teaches French overseas and is interested in coming to the U.S. to teach.She was told that if she takes the Praxis that also enters her qualifications into some international recruitment database – that does not sound accurate to me. How does one who lives overseas find teaching opportunities in the U.S.(public or private schools)? She’ll either end up in Florida, Texas, or Maryland.

She can find a job. Here many French Teachers are required. She can get J1 or H1b visa depending upon the country of her origin. What’s wrong in Florida, Texas, or Maryland?
