Does any one know know to calculate SAT Score base on PSAT, I have :

critical reading : 40 points

math : 50 points

writing : 55 points

How does it work ?

PSAT scores can be read on the 800 point system used by the SAT, if you multiply the PSAT score by 10. For example, a PSAT Verbal score of 63 is similar to a verbal score of 630 on the SAT. However, you cannot convert PSAT scores to actual SAT scores, because they do not measure students at equal times in their lives. There is no guarantee from the PSAT that SAT scores will be in a specific range.

Just multiply each part of your score by 10. So you have a 400 CR, a 500 Math, and a 550 writing–this gives you a total of 1450. I’ll say that you need to do a lot of studying for critical reading, since your results are way below average in that section.

typically add a 0 to the end – 40 becomes 400

Then, realize that you will study hard for the SAT and get 50-100 points for that.
