College Exams?

I don’t think I did too well on my first exam for chemistry and I was wondering, in college if your grade is not the best at first, are you able to bring it up over the course of the semester?

Look at your syllabus for the course. It should tell you what percent of your grade each exam will count for. You can estimate how high you can raise your grade by calculating your grade with your best guess of what you are capable of getting on the other exams/assignments.

So, yes, you can bring your grade up by doing well for the rest of the semester. You might also check with other students who have had that professor before to see if there is a possibility of a curve if nobody did well.

don’t worry about it…you can definitely make it up on your next exams…plus science classes usually have a generous curve!
