National Merit finalist qualifications?
If you are a semifinalist, they look at your SAT scores to make sure that your PSAT is legit. So if you have more than one SAT score, and one is severely lower than your PSAT.. but another one is fine, will you still qualify for finalist standing? And both SAT tests were taken after taking the PSAT.

Have you submitted your better scores? They’ll get a full score report, yes, but they should only look at your highest score. As long as you’ve requested an SAT score report be sent to NMSC since you got the better scores, you should be fine.
And, by my understanding, about 95% of Semifinalists become Finalists, so that step is basically about filling out the paperwork right. π You shouldn’t have any problem becoming a Finalist; they’ll look at SAT scores more (along with your GPA, high school courses, and the other info you give them as a Semifinalist) when it comes to the step between Finalist and Scholar. At least, that’s how I understand it– all 11 Semifinalists at my school became Finalists.
