it just shows he is in the top 14th percentile i think… more likely to get a better job in military… won’t end up a grunt

Wow…what a coincidence! I scored an 86 on the asvab when I signed up for the Air Force. 86 is a very high score and 99 is a perfect score. A score of 86 will pretty much allow your son to choose which ever branch specific job he wants. I was a 2W251(nuclear weapons specialist) just to give you an idea at the possibilities. Hope this helped. Good luck to your son on his future military career.

It’s good, but not extraordinary. You might want to check the sub-scores to look at which fields could use some work. If he’s college bound, an officer career is a viable option.
