My first IQ test, how did I do?

I’m 17 and I did an IQ for the first time in my life in the internet (we dont do them at school) and I got a 110. What do the results mean, is good, bad or average, plus can the results in the internet be trusted?

On some scales, you would fall into roughly the 50th percentile, which would mean that you are of average intelligence. All iq tests have flaws and are not an absolute measuring stick of how smart you are. It does not matter whether the test is on the internet or in print. Personally, I would not worry about it. Just try to expand your horizons as much as possible by reading and otherwise increasing your general knowledge. In the words of the immortal Morpheus, “Expand Your Mind!”.

Online tests are highly inaccuarate. I took 6 online the other day and got 6 different scores that ranged from 96-154. If you want a real score you will have to get one from a school psychologist.

A score of 110 is slightly above average. Average in the US is 100 (for all ages!).

Internet tests cannot be trusted. 110 is just slightly above average (since average is 100).

That score is somewhat above average; you scored better than about 60% of people who took similar tests. Note that one test does not give a reliable reading; you need to take a variety of tests over time to get a good number.

The average IQ is 100, if you don’t trust the results you can take another one but you did good if you want my opinion.

from what I know, it’s easier to score high with online tests… they are probably easier than real tests, so you can do well and they can sell you their certificate thing… but high is at least 130, so maybe your test was harder or something.. i don’t think online results are usually accurate.
