Is the Science part of the ACT very difficult?

I’m a Junior in high school. Will the science classes I’ve already taken ( Bio, Bio II, Chem) prepare me for the ACT or will I need to study more?

It’s graph reading. That’s it. No knowledge of science required. As long as you know how to look at a graph you will be fine. Do a couple practice tests for preparation and your ready to ace that section.

This became my first time taking the ACT besides, (I took it on the instant), and the technology became actual complicated! somewhat, i think of there became purely 2 questions that I knew the solutions to, the rest have been purely guesses. to no longer point out math. humorous component is, I make A’s and B’s in the two those matters, yet there’s no way I handed this attempt to make a good grade.

No, science reasoning is based on your ability to read graphs and passages and understand them well enough to do multiple choice questions. You might make all A’s in your science courses and still do badly on the test, or you might be a bad student in science but still do well on the test.

if i remember right its mostly common sense stuff like reading graphs, you dont even have to know that much about science to do well on it (unless theyve changed it, i havent taken it for 5 years). you can find practice tests all over the internet

I only took a practice ACT but I found that part really hard. (but then again I was so bored and hungry that I couldn’t concentrate…)
