From experience I can tell you that the most difficult thing about the SAT test is that it’s tricky. In my opinion it’s very disimilar to anything you do in school, and really tests how well you can take the test, and take it in the short amount of time given to you.

If you’re all set to study for the next six months, that’ll probably be the best way. With the SAT, the key is to get comfortable with the test, the format, and the type of questions you’ll see on the test, in all sections, so practice is your best bet.

Take plenty of practice tests, review SAT study guides, and try to time yourself – that will allow you to set a good pace on test day. I actually took a real SAT test as a “practice” for myself, just to get a feel for the proper test conditions and experience with the test.

Hope this helps, and good luck! It can get frustrating at times, but I think feeling prepared makes a difference.

An SAT is only as hard as the taker makes it. You will do no better than how smart you are.
