GRE not changing at once but gradually. Is that right?
It seems ETS pulled off from the entire revamping of the exam, and will now do it gradually. The first change will be to introduce two new types of questions in verbal and quantitative starting november.
Did I get this right? Info seems to be contradicting at times

You got it right. They had a very big change planned that most users (campuses) balked at, so ETS is moving more slowly. In part this is a reaction to past changes in the GRE that have confused faculty, most of whom only know the GRE from when they took it eons ago.
