Freshman/Sophmores at stuyvesant taking AP calculus?
Are there any freshman or sophomores at Stuyvesant taking AP calculus or calculus? I’m just curious cause I heard it’s a “smart” school

Stuyvesant HS is an excellent school, especially for math/science, but it would be very difficult/impossible for a freshman or sophomore to be taking AP calculus there, because it is a NY public school. normally students, even at “smart” schools wouldn’t be able to take AP calc until their senior year because of the prerequisites. also, a senior in a new york public school taking ap calc would be a year ahead in math. the “senior” math class is precalc.
