There are books to help with the PSAT and the SAT. Anything you can do to improve your SAT will improve your ability to get into a better college. Private universities (Berkeley, Yale, William & Mary) only take the best. To get into a good college, you really have to compete.

The higher your SAT the better.

The PSAT, use as your gage for strengths and weaknesses. If you ace it, you would be in the NMS catagory, which will only improve your chances for A & M and the like.

PSAT is like pre-SAT. It’s easier than the SAT according to many people. If u do well on PSAT, u can become a semi-finalist for the National Merit Sscholar Qualifying Test (something like that). If u do well on this NMSQT, u can get the national scholarship. So, while studying for SAT, it is good to take this PSAT just to see how u’re doing. But it’s usually taken by highschool juniors. Don’t sweat it right now though a good score will probably be encouraging.
