Cornell University Chances???
I’m wondering if I stand any chance in getting into Cornell arts and sci. or Agriculture college. Here are some stats, and thanks for any input (be brutally honest please)
SAT: 2090
SATIIs : Math II 770 Chemistry 700
highschool GPA: 3.92
no AP exams and no IB program (Canadian student and high school didn’t offer those courses)
College GPA: 3.3-3.5
Ecs: Royal Canadian Air Cadets, military band, jazz band, choir, concert band. Hospital Volunteer, First aid club, toastmasters.
I am a white male, but can speak cantonese fluently (if that has any impact). Thanks again for any input.

You seem like a well-rounded student, so I’m gonna say they’ll probably accept you…except for the fact that you took no AP’s. If you’re still a junior, I’d strongly advise you to take even a few, just because it shows your diligence. Otherwise, I knew people who got accepted to Cornell with 1900s on the SAT. Goodluck!

You’ve got a shot I think–I was also considering Cornell, so I’m pretty familiar with what the usual stats are. I’m assuming, with the fact you included a college GPA that you are transferring? If so, it is easier to get in as a transfer. You are well rounded, but your SAT and GPA are just about average. Good luck

Hey, if they took me (B. S., Agr.), they’ll take anybody.
