Well it would really depend on what type of equipment you are talking about. Like outside equipment could be used for developing certain fine motor skills. For example learning to toss and catch a ball or learning to put the ball through the hoop. Some other fine motor and gross motor skills can be learned from a sand and water table. They learn about measuring if you add measuring cups to the table as well as containers etc. Some materials that might teach fine motor skills would be scissors (cutting) as well as puzzles and matching games. There are many different items that can be justified it just really depends o nwhat you are actually going to purchase. I would stick with terminology such as fine and gross motor skills as well as hand eye coordination and balance. Things like that. Hope this helps.
