10 Real SATs is a must, as well as the Princeton Review’s Cracking the SAT. Use them in conjunction with one another, and you’re on the road to success. If you have to pick just one, go with the former rather than the latter because real practice is priceless.

I suppose I sound like a broken record. But read 2 hours every night. That will improve your reading comprehension and your vocabulary.

Just check out 10 novels from the public library and start tomorrow reading at bedtime. This is a great life habit, by the way.

The more you read, the better you get.

My daughter (here I go again) got a 800 in critical reading because she is a huge reader of trash fictioin. that’s why I know light reading pays off. She did it 2 months ago.

Good luck.

When I first took the SAT, my score was low in the mid 1700s but then I got the sat guide from guideparadise: http://www.guideparadise.com/index.php?option=com_guides&task=buy&id=10 and my score went up to 2190 (800 math, 760 writing, 630 reading). I highly recommend this guide for anyone wishing to get a higher SAT score.
