I took AP Bio my senior year of high school (last year) and got a 5. I prepared by keeping up with the in-class reading during the year, and used the Cliffs Notes review guide (other guides like 5 steps to a 5 or Barrons are probably similar). I took a diagnostic practice test and then went back and reviewed the specific sections I had trouble with.

Most common subjects on the test include:

-structure and function of plants, animals, and plant and animal cells.

-evolution, genetics and heredity

-ecology and diversity of life

it fairly is extra powerful to label the sections because of the fact it helps the graders locate the remarkable solutions. merely answer the question interior the remarkable section! pay interest to the format of the question, and merely stick to that. the assumption is you have the choose to make it as elementary as plausible for the graders. they are in elementary terms human. i comprehend some AP graders, myself, and that i comprehend that they are going to furnish up on an essay (after examining it two times or so) no remember if it fairly is not of course nicely-prepared. you’re doing your self a disservice in case you write your essay as one enormous paragraph. They honestly won’t provide you credit for contradictory solutions. it is the single exception to the “they don’t count type off for incorrect solutions” grading rule. they’ll get rid of any factors they gave you for the remarkable answer in case you contradict it.
