Help PLEASE???
How many days can a 7th grader miss???I have already missed a lot of days,and we are planning to go to NC tomorrow and my mom wants to leave early which requires me to miss school.She spoke with the councelor and she said that they count all absents even if i had a doctors excuse,which means if i got real sick i could possibly fail.So how many days can i miss in total???

There is no one answer since schools have different policies. They may count all absences but they also may count them differently when substantiated by a doctors note.

It depends on your county/state requirements. In our county you can miss nine days and on the tenth you fail. You and your mom need to be more responsible about your attendance – not only will you fail due to absences, you will miss valuable information and teaching time that will really hurt you later.
You need to check your student handbook or the school/county web site to find an exact answer to how many days you can miss.
