I’ve heard ‘many a good tune played on an old fiddle’ – I don’t know if one particular person said this first, but whoever said it was an older man trying to chat up a younger woman! (And it wasn’t music he was talking about)

It’s like something old makes is much better. I means that somthing old works much better because you know how to work it and something new is hard to work it because you don’t know how to work it.
