I think that accreditation is a real concern. I worked in a University, and if you should ever want to transfer your credits to another school, know that they may not transfer. Our University would only accept transfer credits from other accredited schools (which did include many community colleges), and considered non-accredited credits as not taking anything at all. If you are learning something specialized and get an official license or certificate, that is great. But if not, I would say that the name of a school speaks volumes when viewed on your resume by a potential employer. It’s good you are thinking about this before you start school. Good luck to you!
