You should love everyone as it’s nice and love is what makes the world go round.

You should trust only a few as not everbody in the world is trustworthy. If you put your trust in everyone you will end up hurt.

You should do wrong to no one as it is not nice to do wrong to people and you should do to others what you’d like them to do to you.

I’ve heard a very similar saying to the last quote you posted. It went something like: When reality conflicts with belief, then reality must be ignored. (not sure who said it). I personally see that as an excuse to follow one’s belief blindly, and completely disregard all evidence to the contrary. In all honesty it looks like a method to keep people under the impression that it’s somehow wrong to question what you are told is true, because in many cases faith collapses under scrutiny.

Trust a few means that do not trust anyone. Choose only the persons whom you will trust.

Do wrong to none means that don’t do bad thins to others.

one must love all(not that love between lovers but a general feeling of love/affection / compassion towards all human beings) to be a good and amicable person but as u can love everyone similarly u cant trust everyone.u one has to choose onlt those people who are reliable,trustworthy and discreet – such people are really very difficult to find and are very few.

and beside these two,one mustnt do anything harm anybody. this way a person not only becoms very good,respected and lovable by all with nobody doing any harm to him.
