What does this quote mean anyway?
“cut it 2 the bone….then take it back”
yea, i just read it on a site and i dont get it..like at all. What does it mean? A little help please?

It is an odd quote. When you cut it to the bone, you can’t “take it back”

I think they added the “then take it back part themselves. I’ve only heard this as cut it to the bone. Gen Benjamin Franklin Butler used it in his letters from the American Civil War.
