What does this mean?
The grass may be greener on the other side, but it’s just as hard to cut.

Their is a different saying like that one which states “The grass is always greener on the other side of the mountain.” Basically, it means that you aren’t content with what you have and where you are and want whatever someone else has or want to be what they are. It is dealing with disatisfied people. No matter what they have, as soon as they see someone else with something, they have to get it too. Its kind of like ‘doing with the Jones’s do’, only when they get it or go there, they find it wasn’t any better or different than what they did have. Remember the fable of the dog and the bone? He saw his reflecting in the water while he was on the bridge and he decided that the dog in the water had a bigger bone. Well, when he barked at the dog to get that dogs bigger bone, he lost his own in the process. Moral: the grass is the same on the other side of the mountain and may be even harder to take care of with a bigger price to pay in the process for its upkeep.

It means that just because some one else’s life looks better than yours, doesn’t mean that it is. Everyone has problems, regardless of age, race, sex, or money.
