While there are people you don’t want to know about your job search, you either tell people about it or you are looking at advertised jobs.

In my experience, the best results, the best jobs, the best fits come from UNadvertised jobs. In fact, there are a couple of jobs I’ve held that didn’t even exist until I “applied” for them.

You want to network, let people who know your skills and job goals that you are looking. Some of them might know a guy who knows a guy that could use you, and that guy might not have had time to advertise.

Good things come to those who wait, but only the things left behind by those who hustle. Don’t limit your job search to the leftover jobs, and that’s ALL that ever gets advertised.

That’s false because family members and friends can help you search for a new job faster. They can even help you to find a job at their workplace.

It is true if you already have a job, but friends and family can help you find something, even if it’s not what you want to do.

false. family and friends are often a good help when it comes to job hunting. they can help spread the word that you are looking for a job and they can encourage you if you start to lose hope.
