Not sure how to cite my essay?

I’m writing a scholarship essay on my favorite book series, and I’m not sure how to do the citations. I’m not using any quotes from the series, but obviously I’m referencing things like the characters and storyline a lot. The scholarship site didn’t specify any writing style. How should I approach the citations?

Try the website I attached. I just finished yesterday a legal research class (nightmare of class) on citations. You might want to get a hold of a book called THE BLUE BOOK> it is a reference manual on how to cite anything. Hope it helps.

use a small number in the text and then in the footnote (bottom of the page) list the number and then the cite.

there are various person-friendly the right thank you to apply in-text fabric citations: A. sign word + author’s final call, “Quote” (website). B. sign word, “Quote” (author’s final call website). C. “Quote” (author’s final call website). however the two men and ladies might sense suicidal, “extra women attempt suicide, and extra men are helpful in polishing off suicide” (Smith 37). it quite is format B
