Do you know about literature, and have you watched ‘The Crow’?

If your answer is yes to both of these questions, do you happen to know the part in the film when Eric Draven, alias ‘the crow’ said: “suddenly I heard a tapping, as if someone rapping, rapping at my chamber door”, where does that original verse come from?

I can’t remember, and if your answer is accurate, I will have great respect and admiration for you.
