what this mean?A great many people think they are thinking when they are merely rearranging thier predjudices?
please tell me i need to do a journal over it and it is due tommorow please help me quick

I think this quote refers to the way ppl think. They think they have changed their opinions and stumbled across something great. But they haven’t. They have simply ‘rearrange their prejudices’-they haven’t changed, they hold the same number of prejudices, they’ve just changed. For example, if a person who hated God became a Bible-bashing Christian (Not making fun of Christians because I am one myself) they might think they have been ‘enlightened’, but start hating homosexuals. They have therefore gone from hating God to hating homosexuals.
Sorry for the example, this is a hard quote to explain. I have nothing against Christians (being one myself) or homosexuals, it was just all I could think of.
