On the other hand, students get lazy and don’t show their teachers what they know and the teachers have to teach those things over and over again to mastery. . . show what you know!

I’ve been reading “The Well Trained Mind” by Jessie Wise and Susan Wise Bauer. They have a website, you’ll find it easily on google.

Maybe you should take up knitting or something, then at least you can get something useful done in class while the teacher talks! (Actually no, they probably wouldn’t like that…)

And they teach us all this stuff and then I ask my parents for help on it and they just tell me “sorry, I have absolutly no clue. They taught me this stuff but I have never needed to use it so I forgot.”

So just get through it. It will all be over soon.
