Why don’t schools hire walmart to do class pictures?
This year my kids school wants 9$ a sheet, that is outragous! Walmart can do like 120 pictures or something like that for like 8$ and you can pick the pictures you want, I just don’t understand why they would hire a company that charges so much??

It is a long standing tradition to rip off the parents. Don’t you think the tradition should continue? Seriously, I think that the schools should have a “bid” for the job system. That way the company that can provide the service needed for the least amount would win the contract.

A lot of it has to do with fund raising. The school gets a percentage of every page sold so that the picture company raises their price so every one but mom and dad benefits.

those are professional photographers that the school has contracted for the pictures.and at 9 bux thats cheap as far as professionally done photos go.i dont think walmarts gonna send a photographer to the school and take 120 pics and just charge $8.i doubt you could even get them developed for that.you best go check thier prices again.
