Because good teachers care about their students. They hate to see that they didn’t make the impact they were trying to make on the students and lose them. Also, education is very important to most teachers, so seeing someone give up on it causes them to worry about the students’ futures.

Because the teachers are intelligent enough to know that someone who drops out of school does not have a snowballs chance in Hell of being successful…or barely making a living.

We average .8 dropouts a year (I DONT KNOW HOW YOU GET 8/10ths OF A STUDENT LOL). So Ive never seen a teacher be upset. But if they are, its probablly because they know how this student will be harming their future, and its sad to see someone drop out. Because it means they have given up on themselves

Because they’ve dedicated their lives to education, and seeing someone reject it is painful. If you were a pizza maker, and someone threw your pizza back in your face, wouldn’t it hurt a little?
