What should i bring to high school every day?
Favorite Answer
* purse- having make-up, brush, tampon, pads, cell phone on silent, mints/gum, hand sanitizer.
* have two booksacks, both different colors, filled with pens(black), pencils, caculator, ect. and your books and binders for the classes for that day
* keep a jacket on hand no matter what the weather’s like outside, it gets cold in classrooms
* keep your schedual and a map of the school in your pocket, for the first couple of weeks
* also keep highlighters and index cards for studing, and craming
good luck and have fun in high school, it’s truly fun!

The lists here are good, but I’d add a cell-phone, if they’re allowed, even if you leave it in your locker, so your parents can call in an emergency, or you need to stay late and your bro is out sick. Get a cheap, pre-paid phone, in case it gets stolen.
When I taught in my last year, we had block scheduling & kids were allowed breaks for snacks and stretching, so bring something like granola bars, apples and a drink, if they let you.
Also, remember to have any medications you use, given to the school nurse, or get permission to carry them, especially asthma inhalers or pain meds, like ibuprofen or aspirin, for headaches (which tend to happen SO often during school!).
Another good idea is to start making a list NOW of “emergency” contacts (relatives, neighbors), who can pick you up if you’re sick and your parents or brother aren’t around. Then give the list to the school office.
Make sure your brother’s license allows him to have someone under 18 as a passenger. And it should go without saying that he must drive carefully (he’s got precious cargo!)…
