A conflict question is a decision where neither outcome is ideal. It therefore becomes choosing between, as the saying goes, the lesser of two evils. Sort of like the last few US presidential elections (sorry, I couldn’t resist). As for the basics of understanding philosophy….I can’t help you. After all these years, I still am not completely sure of my own philosophy, much less anyone else’s. Good luck with your studies; I know you will do fine.
