well, if you really think about this, they can be two very different ideas, but they are closely interrelated.

Education is the act of learning, of acquiring knowledge, whether it is done in a school setting or anywhere else. Education is adopting the ability to make judgments and reason. It is most commonly done as means of deepening one’s scope of knowledge usually for the purpose developing a skill or preparing for a profession.

Schooling, on the other hand, is the actual process of being taught in a school setting. This ties in with education in the sense that education is acquired through schooling. Schooling can be knowledge, training, or instructions especially when it is conducted in a classroom.

great question madhavi:) yOU know though these words sound synonimous but still there lies a “deep” difference !! Happiness can be found of things which may not even be beneficial to our spiritual or psychological aspect like we may go out & have our favourite dish & clothes etc., we would feel happy. But satisfaction comes from a kind of achievent, if we get good grades in studies we would get a positive feeling that says “hard word paid off” now thats more beneficial isn’t it ;p[ Now peace…. I think it depends on what attitude we adopt towads the “activities” we do for “happiness” or either “satisfaction”, peace actually exist in our self, it just has to be found by us. A person of ignorance might feel peace while a hard worker could be strresed. It can be even oposite to that . So peace needs to found by us.

Nothing as they both brain wash us to the way they want us to go. They have been teaching the same stuff for years and years and we dont use most of it, so they are as bad as each other. You could say education is the academic term for learning. The school is an intentional community to house pupils to educate.

Education can be presented with out one being confined and controlled, as they could come and go at there own will. Schooling is controlling and a holding pen and a elite method for social control.
