3. Math 11

4. Chemistry 11

5. Physics 11

6. Biology 11

7. Accounting 11

8. Spanish 11.

If science is your interest, there is nothing wrong with taking more than one science at a time. Once you get into college, you will be taking more than one class in a given subject all the time (in your major and minor).

With that said, what science courses have you already taken? I’m wondering why you didn’t take biology in 10th grade? My suggestion would be to save physics for your senior year.

My son took Honors Physical Science in 9th grade and Honors Biology in 10th grade. Then in 11th grade he took Honors Chemistry AND Advanced (AP) Biology. In his senior year he took Honors Physics and Advanced (AP) Chemistry. He didn’t regret it because it really helped him in college –he is majoring in the sciences.

He also took Spanish each year, English each year, as well as a math each year (College credit Calculus his senior year).

Good luck.

Well it depends. Do you think you can handle all those classes and three sciences. I don’t think you should overload yourself because its not worth it in the long run. Colleges really don’t care how many science classes you were able to take in one year as long as you take them in the end. man 8 classes? What school do you go to and where? I had 6 classes my junior year with only one science class which was anatomy. I am now a freshman in college (UC system) so do what you feel is right. I would leave some time for me to be able to hang out with friends and also just in case one class gets harder or if more work is assigned. Maybe you should consider to take one science AP class instead of taking 3 science classes.

When I was in high school, I had no idea what I wanted to do in university, so I took as wide a range of courses as possible to make sure that when I did choose a program to apply to, I’d have all the pre-reqs required to get in.

I think you have a great mix there.

That depends on what you want to take after you finish high school, and that you are certain of it. If you are not certain than, you should take the sciences to give you more choices in post secondary education. It’s what I wished I did.
