Is this natural in high school?

Some days are just a drag, I come home and literally break down. .-. I recently transfered to another new school about a week ago and I know a few people there but they are busy with other friends too and they’ve introduced me to people but they never want to seem to talk and it’s just really hard. Homework levels can rise up to impossible…and as pathetic as it sounds, I just want to die or just drop to my knees and start sobbing on and on. Is this natural? Or …idk. There’s nothing really to look forward to everyday, so I kinda dread tomorrow and all that jazz.

If someone is willing to e-mail me or something and talk this through for a few days, that would be the best thing in the world 🙂 (seriously!) the best.

You need to take a step back and not worry so much. You only live one life, and is it really that important to be at the top?

this is completely normal. Almost everybody goes threw this. My suggestion is to take any chance you get in school to start some of your homework. Even if it is only 5 minutes just stat it, it really helps. Yes there is a lot of homework but if you work diligently and wiht no distractions it shouldn’t be that bad. If you are strugling with homework ask a friend for help, stay after with a teacher orr call the homework hot line (www.homeworkhotline.com or 312-645-5555. Most people are busy in high school but just try talking to everybody and there is going to be atleast a few people want to hang out over the weekend. Also, go to all the school functions as possible. It’s the best way to ge tt o know people and hang out with them. It will show people that you have new school spirit for you new school. You are going through a normal phase. Girls at the high school age do tend to form cliques that are hard to break.

After a while you will make new friends. Try sitting for a few days at each of several different lunch tables. Smile and act pleasant.

Begin conversations with girls in your classes. Talk about the work and the teachers. Exchange telephone numbers in case either of you are absent.

Speak to people who are going to your school and live near you. A bus, if you take one, is also a good place to make friends. Join some after school clubs or teams.

Time will cure this problem. Guaranteed.
